1. Do I need to register to use Hut of Deals?

Yes. You need to create an account and verify your email address before you can place a bid or use Buy Now.

2. Why do I need to verify my email?

Email verification confirms it's really you, so we can send you bid updates, winning notifications, and payment links to the right address.

3. Is registration free?

Yes, creating an account and browsing products is free. You only pay if you win a bid or use Buy Now.

Bidding

1. How does bidding work?

Each product has a minimum bidding price and a live countdown timer (2, 4, or 6 hours, depending on the listing). Registered users place bids, and each new bid must be higher than the current highest bid. When the timer hits zero, the highest bidder wins.

2. Can I withdraw or change my bid after placing it?

No. Bids are final once placed and cannot be withdrawn, cancelled, or modified.

3. Is there a limit to how many times I can bid?

No, you can place as many bids as you like on a product while the auction is still live, as long as each new bid is higher than the current highest bid.

4. What happens if two people bid the same amount at the same time?

The platform only accepts a new bid if it is strictly higher than the current highest bid, so two identical bids cannot both be accepted — whichever bid is received and confirmed first by the system holds the position.

5. Can the bidding time change once an auction has started?

We may extend, shorten, suspend, or cancel a bidding window at our discretion for technical, legal, or operational reasons. Any such change will be reflected on the listing.

Buy Now

1. What is Buy Now?

Buy Now tab lets you skip the bidding process entirely. Every listing has a Buy Now price — pay that amount anytime and the product is yours instantly, without waiting for the auction to end.

2. Can I use Buy Now on a product that already has bids on it?

This depends on the specific listing's rules, which will be clearly displayed on the product page. Please check the listing details before using Buy Now on a product that is already being actively bid on.

3. Is Buy Now cheaper or more expensive than winning a bid?

Buy Now is typically priced higher than the minimum bidding price, since it guarantees the product instantly without competing with other bidders.

Winning and Payment

1. How will I know if I won a bid?

We'll send you an email as soon as the auction closes, along with a secure payment link.

2. How much time do I have to pay after winning?

You must complete payment within 24 hours of winning. This is a strict window — please pay promptly to avoid losing your win.

3. What happens if I don't pay within 24 hours?

Your win is automatically forfeited. We may then offer the product to the next-highest bidder or re-list it. Repeated non-payment may also lead to your account being suspended or restricted from future bids.

4. What payment methods can I use?

Payment can be completed through the options available on the secure payment link sent to you, which typically include UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking.

5. Are there any additional taxes or charges on my payment?

Yes, all payments are subject to applicable taxes such as GST, and where relevant, tax deducted at source (TDS) or other statutory deductions under Indian law. These will be reflected in your final payable amount.

Delivery

1. When will my product be delivered?

Once your payment is successfully processed, your product will be dispatched within 5–7 days.

2. What if I don't receive my product within the stated timeline?

Refunds and Cancellations

1. Can I cancel my bid or Buy Now purchase after paying?

No. Once payment is successfully processed, the transaction is final. We do not offer cancellations or refunds for a change of mind.

2. What if the product I receive is damaged or different from what was listed?

You can report this to us within the timeline specified in our Returns Policy. Refunds are considered where the product is materially defective, damaged in transit, or substantially different from its listed description.

3. What if the auction is cancelled due to a technical issue on your end?

If we cancel a bid due to a technical failure or error attributable to us, any amount paid will be refunded following verification.

Account and Security

1. Is my personal and payment information safe?

Yes. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, and payment details are processed through secure, compliant payment gateways. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

2. I received an email or message saying I've won a prize — is it genuine?

Please be cautious. Hut of Deals will never ask you for your password or OTP over email, call, or message. If something looks suspicious, do not respond, and report it to us at info@hutofdeals.com.
